I just love being creative in the kitchen. Pretty looking food makes me happy and I kind of enjoy eating it more. I am easy to please, right?
Bananas are my all time favourite fruit and I literally put it in everything, even into my salads! These curvy yellow fruits are high in potassium, fiber, magnesium, vitamins C, B6 and also keep your bowels healthy. Just make sure you eat them with brown spots, not green. Green bananas are starchy and much harder to digest causing bloating and gas.
Ok, let’s start creating and have some fun in the kitchen.
1 – 2 tablespoons of peanut butter or any other nut butter
chia seeds, goji-berries, hemp seeds, raw cocoa nibs
Peel banana and spread peanut butter over the top half of the banana. Now you have two methods:
1. Sprinkle a topping on top and slice into bite-sized pieces
2. Slice the banana and dip in a topping
For children pop the banana slices on a wooden stick! Enjoy!
