Good morning ! Have you been out yet? It is freezing out there, heavy wind and raining. Hello English autumn weather I’ve missed you NOT! I make porridge all year around, but when the weather gets like this it tastes even better. Makes you feel warm, cozy and ready to face anything. Plus oatmeal is one of the healthiest breakfast options you can get. A porridge a day keeps the doctor away, so let’s get making!
Cacao and Maca oatmeal
Recipe

Ingredients:
1/3 cup gluten-free oats
1 cup unsweetened milk ( I used Provamel Almond-Rice milk)
1 heaped tsp of Maca
1 heaped tsp of raw cacao
4 dates
half of banana, sliced

Method:
Mash your banana until there are no chunks left and then place all ingredients in a pot and cook gently on a low heat for about 1- 2 mins or until thicken. Top up with fresh fruit,nuts, desiccated coconut or some superfood such as hemp seeds, chia seeds or goji-berries.
