I am always in rush, please tell me I am not the only one. Work, commute, family, kids school activities, new recipes, friends, social life and more. Sometimes I honestly think there just isn’t enough hours in the day. This is when this healthy breakfast bar recipe comes in very handy. This is definitively one of the easiest, healthiest, and tastiest breakfasts on the go out there.
This healthy breakfast bar recipe requires 3 simple ingredients which I am sure you all have in your cupboards right now. They are oats, banana and raisins. You got them? Great, let’s get making!
Healthy breakfast bar recipe
If you need to make this gluten free, use certified gluten free oats. I used the jumbo oats from Flavahans, they are just perfect for this recipe, because they are thick, delicious and give the bar the perfect texture. I love Flavahans product, and here is my clean oat bread using their porridge oats. It’s so nice and delicious, I received such great feedback on it, so give it a go.
If you don’t like raisins feel free to use cranberries, sultanas, dried apricots or dates. They all work well and add an extra touch of sweetness.
These bars are a brilliant breakfast on the go, or afternoon pick me up, healthy treat. Make them the night before and pack a couple in your bag to get you through the morning rush.

Hi, I don't like the taste of bananas. Can you taste it in then once they are cooked? X
Hedi Hearts
yes, you can, but not a lot. You can add some nice natural flavouring to help to cover up the taste xx
