Almost every day I get asked what are my favourite cookbooks and the best clean eating cookbooks out there…. I have been asked for months on end, and it’s taken me that long to finally write it all down for you, but finally, here are my top clean eating cookbooks. I will be adding more as I discover other books, so keep an eye out. I get a lot of inspiration from them and it’s very therapeutic to do this, I recommend for you to do the same if you can. It is very hard to describe all the books below because they have a lot in common….great recipes, beautiful pictures and loads of useful tips, so I will try to capture the their essence in a couple of sentences otherwise I would have to repeat  myself a lot.

Ella created over a 100 sugar-free, dairy-free and gluten-free recipes that are perfect for avoiding various common intolerances and allergies. She has recently opened her own cafe down in London, so can’t wait to go there!

I Quit Sugar: Simplicious by Sarah Wilson
Most people are addicted to sugar, so this is where Sarah Wilson comes with useful solutions for anyone who feels that the sugar cravings are out of control. There are great tips for freezing meals, how to buy in bulk and what to do with left overs.This book has 306 recipes and there isn’t a book like this out there! A must have!

Grains As Mains by Laura Agar Wilson
Grains can be part of delicious meals that keep you full for a long period of time and prevent you from making wrong meal-related choices. Laura suggests plenty of easy meals, as well as gluten-free recipes, which are ideal for people suffering from Celiac disease or gluten intolerances. Laura is a fellow healthy food blogger and did a blog post for me a few months back, her raw salted caramel sauce is amazing!

Glow.: 10 easy steps for losing weight, looking younger & feeling healthier by Amelia Freer, the nutritional therapist and healthy eating expert, emphasizing the benefits of holistic health and healthy eating. She lists and explains 10 steps one needs to take in order to feel and look better and provide 25 recipes to get you started. Unlike other books, her suggestions are backed up by science, so definitely one to check out.

Honestly Healthy for Life: Healthy Alternatives for Everyday Eating by Natasha Corrett (Author), Vicki Edgson
This book aims to provide options for people who want to take care of their health without constantly feeling as if they are on a restrictive diet. You can find here ideas for people of all ages and occasions including recipes for kids parties, lunches on the go, dinner party entertainment or Sunday brunch. It is also helps you organize your food stocks and in general a brilliant book to have on your shelf.

Literally just got released, so I haven’t got this one….yet. It is meant to be another brilliant book with weekday 30 minutes recipes, long  and lazy brunch ideas and weekend treats, Madeleine has nailed it again!

Everyday Super Food by Jamie Oliver
Jamie Oliver never fails to impress and this book is no exception. He puts his skills to good use and shares some of his daily meal choices. The book is divided into breakfasts (up to 400 calories), lunches (up to 600 calories) and dinners (up to 600 calories), and every tasty meal is nutritionally balanced so that any combination over the day will bring you in under your recommended daily allowance of calories (2000 women/2,500 men). Jamie claims to have lost 2 stones using these recipes. I got this for Christmas, so thumbs up to my partner Tony!

If you haven’t seen the ‘That Sugar’ movie, you have to have this book. Damon Gameau embarks on an experiment around Australia to document the effects of a high sugar diet on a healthy body. If you need a motivation to finally tackle your sugar addiction this book is just what you need.

So here they all are, my Top 20 Clean eating cookbooks that I find inspirational and full of tasty recipes. All I need now is more space in the kitchen to get some new ones!
