This is my second recipe for Tefal's Spin Class Campaign. The first one was the truly scrumptious ActiFry Red Berry and Peppermint Spring Rolls made in my new Tefal ActiFry Genius XL.

How to make ActiFry Chickpea and Bean Falafel Recipe
The ingredients are simple: kidney beans, chickpeas, shallot, garlic, flour of your choice (I used gluten-free flour), water, olive oil, salt and pepper and ras-el-hanout seasoning.
Whizz it all in a good food processor, make little balls and then cook for 20 minutes in your ActiFry.
Cooking up falafel in air fryer is easy, delicious and so much healthier than deep frying.I will share the full recipe down below, but you can also find it on the My ActiFry app which can be downloaded for free.
Each recipe comes with the ingredients laid out clearly, step by step instructions and you can even create a shopping list to make sure you have everything you need.

ActiFry Chickpea and Bean Falafel
Easy, quick and delicious this ActiFry Chickpea and Bean Falafel is the perfect light lunch or dinner recipe cooked in 20 minutes. It's gluten-free, vegan and budget friendly.
Ingredients
- 125g cooked kidney beans, drained
- 100g cooked chickpeas, drained
- 2 ActiFry spoonfuls of flour (you can use any flour)
- 0,5 ActiFry spoonful of water
- 1 small shallot,diced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 ActiFry spoonful of ras-el-hanout
- 1 ActiFry spoonful of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put the kidney beans, chickpeas, chopped garlic, diced shallot and the ras-el-hanout in the food processor bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with water
- Blend until you have a thick consistency
- Tip into a bowl and add the flour little by little while stirring
- On a floured work surface, make little balls about the size of a large walnut
- Remove the paddle from your ActiFry and put the balls in the pan
- Drizzle with olive oil and brush over the balls
- Begin cooking: Mode 5, duration 20 minutes
- Serve with gorgeous salad or with a sauce made with yoghurt, tahini, lemon juice and coriander
- Enjoy!
