Sundays are the best lazy days… Sundays are the best for lie-ins… Sundays are the best for inventing recipes such as this clean eating white chocolate recipe and then enjoying it with a green tea cuppa. Sundays are the best. FULL STOP.
I've asked you what other of your usual treats would you like me to 'clean up' and some of you said white chocolate. So here I am sharing my clean eating white chocolate recipe made only with 3 ingredients. As you might know, I have a slight peanut butter addiction so of course, this white chocolate is peanut flavoured. However, if peanut butter doesn’t tickle your fancy then use cashew nut or macadamia nut butter. They both keep the white chocolate looking like the real stuff while also keeping it lovely and creamy. If you are sensitive to nuts use tahini, but be aware that tahini has a slightly bitter undertone so you might like to add a bit more sweetener. As far as sweetener goes try to avoid date or coconut nectar - they are unbelievably delicious but are also dark in colour - and you want your white chocolate to be white. I used maple syrup from BuyWholeFoodsOnline. You can get the same one in here, but any maple syrup will do.
I get my cacao butter from them too because I like that it comes in buttons, so it is easier to measure/weigh out rather than big chunks. You can get the buttons from here.
This clean eating white chocolate recipe makes 3 small bars depending on your chocolate mould. Just to give you an idea, mine is a medium sized mould which produces a chocolate bar with an approximate weight of 70g.
Before we get to the recipe, I want share something with you. It officially launches tomorrow but because you are here I will share it with you! THE CLEAN EATING MAGAZINE is live!! I am so so excited. This is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time. This is only a FREE trial, you don't need to pay for anything, just download it and save. What I will ask you to do is let me know what you think...honest opinion, because one day, hopefully after this trial, I would love to do a full version that could be on the shelves in WHSmith or Tesco or any other supermarket. You can download it from the magazine's website here.
