    Best coconut flour recipes

    I bet you have all jumped on the coconut flour band wagon! I did too and now my cupboards are sporting two different types of coconut flour, but the big question is, what to do with it?

    Coconut flour is created from defatted coconut meat that is dried and ground. It is a healthy alternative to grain flours and provides a light delicious taste to your favorite recipes that require flour.

    It is low in digestible carbohydrates and high in fiber. It is perfect for those who have food sensitivities to gluten since it is a gluten free product.

    You can use coconut flour to bake or cook your favorite dishes such as cakes and cookies and using it as a delicious coating for fish, chicken or vegetables.

    It is far more dense than your normal flour and therefore needs a lot more moisture when using for baking. My favourite coconut flour is Organic Coconut Flour from Coconut Merchant.

    Using Healthy Alternative Flours

    Many home cooks wonder how they can use these healthy alternative flours. You can enjoy cooking your favorite things such as cookies, pies, fudge, crumb bars, waffles and pancakes.
