Couple of weeks ago I tried my very first bulletproof coffee and my mind was like: Where has this been all my life??! The creamiest, most delicious coffee I ever had.
What is Bulletproof Coffee?
To put it in plain English Bulletproof coffee is coffee + high quality fat all blended until creamy. The purpose of bulletproof coffee is to make it filling, so that you sip it first thing in the morning and keep the hunger at bay. I love it before my early morning run followed by breakfast after my run. This is not to replace breakfast 🙂 Most recipes use butter, ghee, collagen or heavy cream and artificial sweeteners. My recipe is with MCT oil, cinnamon, touch of turmeric and almond milk.
I have never had MCT ( medium-chain triglyceride oil), until Coconut Merchant has kindly sent me their MCT oil to try. For my American followers try this Sport Research 100% Pure MCT Oil has been recommended to me as well.

I have had this for the last 2 weeks before my runs and I can confirm it does make a difference. I feel stronger and not completely gassed at the end of my runs, so really pleased with it.

Dairy-Free Bulletproof Coffee
Dairy-Free Bulletproof coffee to kickstart your morning and keep your energised all day long. Easy, tasty with no gluten or added sugar.
Ingredients
- 1,5 cup hot brewed coffee
- 1 - 2 teaspoon MCT oil
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of turmeric
- ½ cup almond milk
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender
- Blend on high for 30 - 60 seconds until a foam is formed on top
- Pour into a coffee mug and enjoy straight away
