Today I am sharing healthy chocolate mousse recipe which is done in 3 minutes and is very addictive! You've been warned!
This healthy chocolate mousse recipe is naturally sweet, healthy , simple, fast and it looks good. What more could you want? In addition, you can prepare it literally in a few minutes and enjoy it also vegan, because it contains no dairy products or eggs. There is neither white sugar or gluten, of course. You can decorate it according to your taste and imagination, but I like some crushed nuts, fresh mint and fresh berries.
So how to make healthy chocolate mousse??
Well the secret is avocado, but I promise you won't taste it at all. Make sure you use ripe avocados. They are true nature's superfood, just read this article. You will also need a nicely ripe banana, cocoa powder and any type of milk.
Now the process...can we even call this a procedure? I just popped it all into the blender and blended it until completely smooth. Of course, before that, the avocado and the banana were peeled off, and I took out the avocado stone.

Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 ripe banana, chopped
- 1,5 tablespoon cocoa powder (if using cacao use only 1 tbsp)
- 2-3 tablespoon almond milk (you can use any type of milk)
- Optional:
- Rice, date or maple syrup if you need it a bit sweeter
Instructions
- In a food processor or high speed blender combine the ingredients and blend until smooth
- Add a bit water if needed to get the right consistency
- Divide into glasses and then decorate with crushed nuts, mint or fresh berries.
- It taste the best when chilled.
