The first thing I have to mention is this amazing avocado slicer. OMG, where has it been all my life?! If you have been following me for a while you might have noticed my 'slight' addiction to avocado. This lovely little tool is just pure perfection. This all-in-one tool literally does it all. It splits, pits and slices avocados safely and effectively. It is made from rubber, so doesn't slip or move. You can get it here and yes you are very welcome, I know how life changing this is 🙂
My second favourite discovery is kale powder from Indigo Herbs. I used it in my Green Creamy Soup and boy this was so nice. The kale powder can be used in so many dishes such as smoothies, soups, dips, dressings, sauces, stews... basically anything! It is highly concentrated so you need only a teaspoon at a time. This is a very powerful and nutritionally dense powder worth investing in and it will last you for ages.

Another new discovery is socks… I know, not the most exciting thing, but these are. They are from a company called Bridgedale who have more than 100 years of heritage in knitting excellence, creating gorgeously soft and comfortable performance socks for a range of sports. Each pair is manufactured in its UK factory and uses Bridgedale's unique fusion technologies, which mixes the best natural wool with technical fibres to ensure the best performance for the specific sport or exercise. I love the running ones called Speed Diva (love the name because I am a bit of diva). They are ultra-light and breathable. They do also junior and men ones, I got few pairs for Sofia as we are going back to my homeland to have a go at skiing. If you are a passionate runner or fitness junkie, please check them out here... they could be your new best friend for your feet!
I also met someone in January. He is dark, always with me and keeps me in check… Fitbit! I tell you something, I can't imagine my life without it now. It tracks my steps, my sleep, my workouts and so much more. I wrote a proper love letter about it in here. If you have some spare cash, it's definitely worth investing.
I have created a few recipes throughout January, and my favourite and most colourful is the last one, my clean Pavlova! I mean how amazing does this look and yet it is so easy to make! Also, this recipe was created for Comic Relief and their Red Nose Day! I love getting involved with charities and helping people.
If I had to pick one blog post to read today, it would be the Top 10 Food Tips on How to Eat Less. I have really thought long and hard about how to help you out with eating a bit less so please have a read, I hope you find it helpful.
So here are my January favourite and new finds, I hope you will enjoy this new monthly blog post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Much love,
Hedi
