Today is sunny, which is a rare occasion in the UK. As soon as the sun is out I fancy something cool and sweet, so here I am today sharing my healthy chocolate tart recipe.
This recipe is so easy, yet very decadent, indulgent, rich… simply amazing! Oh, and you don't even have to turn on your oven!
In addition to being super easy, it's also healthier than your traditional chocolate tart while also being gluten-free, grain-free, fully plant based/vegan and paleo-friendly. The tart crust is made with a mixture of nuts, dates and cacao (or you could also use cocoa powder). The chocolate layer is made of just 2 ingredients; my all-time favourite Chocolateeha raw chocolate and oat cream. Get Chocolateeha here.
Oat cream is a lovely cream alternative that is delicious and naturally sweet. It’s perfect for pouring and cooking and completely free from lactose, milk protein and soya.
This chocolate tart is so shiny that you can almost see your reflection in it. I like keeping things simple, but I also like to make a bit of an impression and this tart recipe combines both. It is so easy to make, yet with a few very simple decorations of various berries, crushed nuts and mint leaves, it looks so beautiful.
If you're thinking that the texture looks spot on, you are right. Creamy, smooth, yet firm enough to slice easily. It doesn’t melt either so you can leave this beauty out for the entire party!

That’s it, a really simple dessert to whip up for a last minute post-dinner treat or lazy Sunday cooking session. The rich, glossy chocolate ganache and gorgeous berries just bring it all together in the sweetest, freshest way! It's just pure, silky, smooth chocolate decadence.
